Manual Coordinator:  George Fuller reported manuals are being printed now and will be in Tuesday.

Lab Report/Disks and Badges: Bob Nelson reported he is working on class CD’s or Flash Drives as needed.  Fundamentals and Works will continue to use CD’s. as students should learn to burn CDs.  Lab attendance was low but had plenty of coaches to help.

Instructor/Coach Staffing Coordinator:  Jack Thompson reported coaches needed for the Digital Camera class.  He encourages the instructors to recruit their own staff.  He continues to remind volunteers that help is needed in many other classes.

Publicity:  Julie Cooper reported we currently have ad in local paper.  A radio ad is being prepared.  The script has been written.  The GPB participation will be scaled back to 8 people.  They are working on new Senior Net bulletin board presentation and need pictures of classes in progress.  They sent 465 mailings to previous students.  Only 23 were returned as undeliverable.  Frank suggested they use the Ramblers’ mailing list.  Sally White commented our story is about seniors who are computer experts teaching other seniors who are not.  She volunteered to help Publicity Committee and her offer was accepted.  An easel is needed which Jessica Barker will provide and help with location.

Internet and Email: Frank Padula reported a new manual is being worked on by Bill Buttrick.

Quicken:  Howard Goldmacher presented revised course in spring.  There were favorable reviews.

Microsoft Word:  Frank Padula reported 2007 to be taught in fall and course material is ready to go.  John Rittenberg and Ann Tilly volunteered to coach.  Frank is making poster for bulletin board.

Memoirs Workshop:  Tony Cobourn reported this class will be held in the evening in the fall quarter.  The same 3 coaches will help.

Photoshop Elements:  Emory Reese is ordering manuals for summer class.  There are 3 students signed up for summer and class will be cancelled if there are less than five.  He will be making photos of volunteers after this meeting and some photos currently posted will be rotated off the wall. Emory showed a newsletter he received from Gwinnet Senior Net.  He will ask the sender to add others to mailing lists if anyone is interested.

Picasa will be taught in fall by former Elements student, Maury Foreman.  An Advanced Photo Elements will be taught by David Glowdowski.

Power Point:  Brian Perry reported this was to be 6 week course and he is now stretching it to 8 with 4 hours instruction and 4 hours review.  Power Point slides to be duplicated and printed and given to students.  He would like help in deciding how to get these printed.

Typing and Keyboarding:  Ann Tilly is ready to teach.

Other business:  John Rittenberg reported SEL is discontinuing computer classes. We should be recruiting staff for Senior Net.  Publicity should talk to Dick Higgins.
